Very friendly staff. We could tell it is a home town place from the banter with the locals. I ordered the beef & noodles (which I rarely see at restaurants). This came with soup (I had chicken and rice which was good). The beef and noodles was good and a very large portion. My wife had chicken (diet plate) which was good as well. We ordered a piece of pecan pie, surprisingly the waitress asked if we wanted it warmed up, most places just served it cold. I would recommend this to anyone going to Ft. Madison.
